DuPont reaches settlement with Cardinal Health

Chemicals giant E.I. DuPont De Nemours & Co. said Monday it has
reached a settlement with Cardinal Health Inc. to resolve
allegations of breach of contract brought against the Dublin health-
care company.

DuPont filed suit against Cardinal in 2003 over the production and
sale of surgical drapes and gowns by a Cardinal subsidiary, Cardinal
Health 200 Inc. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Cardinal
representatives confirmed that the parties had reached a settlement
but declined further comment.
