Oncolytics Biotech's Research Collaborators to Present Data on
REOLYSIN(R) Research at AACR-NCI-EORTC Conference

CALGARY, Oct. 5 - Oncolytics Biotech Inc.
("Oncolytics") (TSX:ONC, NASDAQ:ONCY) announced today that
presentations
covering various REOLYSIN(R) research programs will be made at the
AACR-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and
Cancer
Therapeutics: Discovery, Biology, and Clinical Applications, to be
held
November 14 to 18 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A poster
entitled 'A Phase I
study of a wild-type reovirus (Reolysin) given intravenously to
patients with
advanced malignancies' will be presented by Dr. Johann S. de Bono of
The Royal
Marsden Hospital and The Institute of Cancer Research, UK, and a
poster
entitled 'Reovirus enhances radiation cytotoxicity in vitro and in
vivo' will
be presented by Dr. Kevin J. Harrington of the Targeted Therapy
Laboratory,
The Institute of Cancer Research, Cancer Research UK Centre for Cell
and
Molecular Biology, UK.
